You may have heard about President Obama's remarks a few months ago when he stated that the travel agent is now obsolete and has been replaced by the internet. While I love President Obama and support him, I have to disagree with him on this.
True, more people are booking their travel plans online these days, and for simple trips, they should. However, when it comes to more complicated itineraries such as cruises, group travel, and international travel, consumers need to be more cautious. This is where a professional travel agent can help make sure your trip runs smoothly.
